    Up for sale is this delightful Used Commemorative, Great Britain #179, the olive-brown Half Crown (2 shilling/6 pence)
    Britannia Rule the Waves
    issue of 1919.
    At left, #179 features a bust portrait of King George V.  In the central vignette is a rendering of Britannia, in battle regalia and chariot, being drawn across a rough sea by three horses.  The stamp, printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson Printing Co., is perforated 11x12 on paper with watermark #34.  The height of the frame is 22¾ mm.
