, written by John Wells, in which Benton (Eric La Salle) struggles with the idea of taking a DNA test to determine whether or not Reese (Matthew Watkins) is actually his son. As the signs continue to pile-up, Kerry (Laura Innes) and Mark (Anthony Edwards) use a fake patient to convince Dr. Lawrence (Alan Alda) of his Alzheimer's. Carter (Noah Wyle) has trouble persuading a woman from a nursing home fire to sign a DNR for her husband and later is asked to forge charts for a family with no insurance. Carol (Julianna Marguiles) continues to meddle in Meg's (Martha Plimpton) life, having her arrested so that she can be detoxed. Cleo (Michael Michele) is blamed for an explosion in the suture room, but it may actually be Dr. Dave's fault.
Written bye John Wells, this Second Draft script is dated September 20, 1998. It consists of four acts in 78 pages on eye-rest green stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between a white cardstock front and back cover.
It is in overall very fine- condition with a vertical crease on the front cover (which affects the following 14 pages) with light signs of wear along the last 3 in. of the right edge; and two vertical creases with a few small areas of wear on the back cover. There are no missing pages, tears, other stains, or other flaws, nor are there any handwritten notations present within.
