    Description

    This is a
vintage original Rev. First Draft script
from the popular 1990's/2000's hospital-themed television drama,
    ER
, created by Michael Crichton. It is from
    Season 2, Episode 11
    , which was entitled
    Dead of Winter
, written by John Wells, in which Shep (Ron Eldard) and Raul (Carlos Gómez) enter a house with about a dozen abandoned and undernourished children. They bring them to the ER, where they keep the staff busy. Meanwhile, Vucelich (Ron Rifkin) lets Carter (Noah Wyle) take care of Mrs. Rubadoux (Billye Ree Wallace), whose condition doesn't improve, and who didn't turn out to be good material for Vucelich's study. Shep clashes with Malik (Deezer D) and Benton (Eriq La Salle) over a racial remark and Mark (Anthony Edwards) gets divorce papers from Jennifer. Jeanie (Gloria Reuben) has an evaluation and an appointment with Al (Michael Beach).
This Rev. First Draft script is dated November 14, 1995. It consists of four acts in 74 pages on eye-rest green stock with revisions dated November 15 on pink stock and November 16 on yellow stock, all of which have been 3-hole punched and bound with two metal grommets between a white cardstock front and back cover.
This script belonged to cast member Eyde Byrde, who played "Grandma Proulx."
She made some handwritten notes on the top of the front cover, most of which were subsequently scratched out, as well as a large check mark. Her character had a very brief appearance at the end of Act Three, which is shown on pages 53 and 55, as she either highlighted her dialogue with a yellow highlighter or circled the dialogue with pencil and a black felt-tip pen.
It is in overall fine+ condition with light vertical crease on the front cover to the right of the grommets and three diagonal creases of varying sizes on the bottom right corner with three small stains. One of these creases repeats on most of the interior pages in the same place. There are no missing pages, tears, other stains, or other flaws.
