    Description

    This is a nicely
    crafted violin (non-working), complete with bow. I wish I knew who the artisan was!
    The body of the instrument looks like it is made of wood, but I can't tell for sure. If it is made of plastic, then they have done a marvelous job of making it look like realistic fine wood. The fine wood grain is visible both in the front piece and the back, and the whole body has a clear, lovely gloss finish.
    There are 4 metal strings.
    The bow is either wood or plastic and is black with at least 4 very fine filaments strung between the two ends. I believe the strings are very thin plastic.
    This is a very nice replica of a lovely instrument.
