    , production-issued pilot script for the classic 1970s sitcom.
    This script was filmed, but never aired.  However, some scenes were rewritten and reshot, and the revised version later aired as the episode titled "P-I-L-O-T" (Season 1, Episode 9.)
    This early version had a number of elements that were revised or removed before the show was broadcast.  For example, Bob was chairman of his condo association (which was dropped), and Jerry (Peter Bonerz) was originally also a psychologist, but his occupation was changed to a dentist.
    Given these changes and the lack of production number & draft date, this may be the earliest version of "The Bob Newhart Show" pilot script that exists.
