Star Trek IITV Script
"The Savage Syndrome"
Before there was Star Trek: The Motion Picture, there was Star Trek II which was in pre-production as a new TV series produced by Gene Roddenberry to be filmed at Paramount. After Star Wars came out, the Paramount suits decided to turn Star Trek into a film.
Here we have one of the scripts for the "new" TV series entitled, "The Savage Syndrome," written by Margaret Armen (who wrote for the original series and the animated series) and Alfred Harris. This is the UNREVISED FINAL DRAFT dated December 27, 1977.
This is a photocopy... and I know it came from Paramount because of the collector I got it from. It has no covers, but is standard 3-hole punched and bound with standard brass brads. Script length is 56 pages. This copy is clean with no tears, rips, folds, stains or other defects.
The scripts from Star Trek II (the proposed series) show up from time-to-time online, but not terribly often. Hurry, as I'm sure this will not last long.
