Ruby. Lab grown. This is not CZ, this material has  all the same properties as the natural Sapphire. The cut is called Gamma  Brilliant and was designed by Jeff Ford. The design was chosen for the USFG  single stone competition master stone. There are additional facets that was  added to the pavilion (This really brightens up the design and brings out a  lovely pin fire flash). Realistic size with that very expensive look and will make a  gorgeous piece of jewelry. The stone is extremely brilliant. Any dark colors  seen in the photos are only external reflections and are not inside the stone.
