These stones are beautiful. Very unique and stunning. True antique appeal. They were previously set in an antique 1940's ring and show very little wear. It sparkles while having that beautiful icy appearance that only a white Sapphire can provide. The white Sapphire is nearly flawless therefore we can guess it is a lab Sapphire. A lab Sapphire IS genuine Sapphire. Same as you would find in the earth. It is preferable because it can be flawless and is environmentally friendly. Any gemstone tester will verify this is Sapphire.
Sapphires are a 9 on the hardness scale and are very durable. They are second only to Diamond and Moissanite.
This Sapphire is double rose cut. It is a very old cut yet gives a bit more reflection then a single rose cut. You will get many compliments on your stunning and unique Sapphire!
