    Description

1966 LOVE ON A ROOFTOP Bernard Slade TV Sitcom Script: Actor Al Checco Estate
Up for sale is a rare original script from Bernard Slade's 1966 sitcom LOVE ON A ROOFTOP.  The 30 episode series starred Judy Carne, Pete Duel and Rich Little.  The script was the personal property of one of the cast, character actor Al Checco (more on him in a moment).
This episode is titled "BUT IS IT REALLY YOU?" and was the 14th episode of the series.  Al Checco played the role of Lou in this episode.  The script is in excellent condition.
Al Checco (1925-2015) appeared in episodes of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW and GOMER PYLE.  He was a comedy partner of the great Don Knotts and appeared in 4 of Knott's films: THE INCREDIBLE MR. LIMPET, THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN, THE RELUCTANT ASTRONAUT and HOW TO FRAME A FIGG.  His other film appearances include HOTEL, THE PARTY, BULLIT, ANGEL IN MY POCKET, THE TERMINAL MAN and the Disney films THE WORLD'S GREATEST ATHLETE and PETE'S DRAGON.  He played the recurring role of Joe King in the TV seres MISTER ED.
I purchased this at an estate auction with several of Al Checco's personal scripts.  I've included a photo of Al Checco in my pics so you can recognize him but there is not photography included in the auction.
*Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week.  If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again.  But most people will have a much shorter wait and some will have very fast shipping.  No one will have to wait more than 5 business days.  Thank you for understanding.
