1904 ATLANTIC CITY Souvenir Plate by Cartoonist Walt McDougall Semi-Centennial

Description

For your consideration, this is an antique plate celebrating the semi-centennial of Atlantic City. The drawing is from the famous cartoonist, Walt McDougall and features the heads and torsos of women bathing in the water. The rim is scalloped and embossed and is trimmed in gold. It is marked on the underside Etruria Mellor & Co.
It measures 10” in diameter and is in very good condition with no cracks or browning. There is a chip on the underside rim (see photos). There are no additional chips. Some crazing is noted.
